# Bike sponsorship: How Brand My Bike works

> Brand My Bike is preparing for launch. A page or auction guarantees neither bids nor bike funding. Production payments remain closed until all legal, operational, tax and security launch gates are approved.

Brand My Bike connects one rider, one exact bicycle and physically finite sponsor positions. Brands do not bid for vague presence. They bid for defined areas such as the downtube, top tube, head tube, seat tube or fork. Every position has an intended size, orientation, availability and minimum bid.

The public funding goal corresponds to the reviewed dealer price of the exact submitted bike. Under the intended payment model, a bid charges a 20% deposit, with a €25 minimum. If a sponsor is outbid or an auction is not funded, the documented refund process applies. The model is all or nothing: a missed target does not produce a partly funded bike or a campaign starting early.

After the complete goal is reached, purchase, production and installation of approved sponsor positions follow. The 365-day campaign term begins only after approved installation proof.

Ride Proofs can be based on FIT or GPX files. Raw files and full point sequences remain private. A public view is a separate derivative: at least the first and last kilometre are removed, coordinates lose precision and publication requires an explicit rider action. Home addresses and live positions are not published.

Real campaign data can include approved activities, distance, active positions and first-party click or QR interactions. Example data stays clearly labelled; Brand My Bike does not promise impressions, sales or funding.
