Your next bike could be funded by brands — 7 things to understand first.
You choose one exact bike. Brands bid on clearly defined areas of its frame. If the verified bike price is reached under the applicable rules, a traceable campaign can begin after purchase, branding and approval.

What riders should understand before starting
Not reach alone. A concrete story on two wheels.
Sponsorship is often associated with professional sport, large channels or enormous follower counts. Brand My Bike starts somewhere else: with one rider, one exact bike and an honest account of where and how that bike is used. Commuting, regular rides, travel, local events or a personal distance project can create credible context without turning that context into an invented reach number.
A bike can be sports equipment, transport and a travel companion at the same time. Its frame also has physically finite areas that become visible while the bike is in use. Brand My Bike connects those positions to a clearly described campaign. Brands can understand which bike is involved, what they are bidding on and which approved evidence may follow. Funding is never guaranteed; it depends on real sponsor interest and the complete bike goal being reached.
From a real bike to a campaign people can follow.
- 01
Your bike is visible while you are actually out riding.
A bicycle rarely stays in one place. It moves through a city, waits outside a café, crosses gravel tracks, joins a commute or becomes part of a longer journey. That real usage context can be more meaningful to a partner than an abstract advertising surface without a story.
Brand My Bike does not turn this into public live tracking or promise a blanket number of views. What matters is describing the use honestly: what do you ride, where are you active and what are you setting out to do? Not every ride needs to become public. The connection between rider, bike and a credible plan is what gives a physical placement context.

- 02
Every sponsor position is specific and finite.
Brands do not bid for vague “presence”. They bid for defined positions on the actual bicycle: downtube, top tube, head tube, seat tube, fork or individual stays. Each area has an intended size, orientation and status.
That limit matters. Two sponsors cannot occupy the same position, and a small area cannot quietly become a large one later. The bike view shows where a placement sits and the minimum value planned for the auction. The visual below is explicitly an example campaign. In a real listing, geometry, availability and price come from the reviewed campaign inventory rather than an invented marketing list.

The goal is not an arbitrary pot of money. It is one exact bike.
You do not enter a wish amount alone. A campaign includes the bike’s brand, model, configuration, size, colour, side view, retailer and price evidence. Before a real auction, the relevant dealer price is frozen under the intended review rules.
Sponsors can therefore understand which bike will carry their placement and what the funding goal represents. This is not general crowdfunding for an undefined purpose. If the complete goal is reached and every other requirement is met, that exact bike can be purchased and prepared for the campaign. A material bike change requires another review because a different model can mean different geometry, positions and costs.

All or nothing protects both sides.
Bids apply to specific frame positions. Under the intended payment model, each bid charges a 20% deposit, with a €25 minimum, through Stripe Checkout. If a sponsor is outbid or the auction misses the complete bike goal, the documented refund process applies. The bike is not partially funded or presented as a finished campaign from half a target.
Only when current leading principals together reach the frozen bike price can the remaining payment steps follow under the applicable rules. This creates a clear line between interest and a funded campaign. At the current production stage, live transactions remain locked until legal, operational, tax and security launch reviews are complete.

The campaign starts only after purchase, branding and approval.
A leading bid is not yet an active advertising campaign. First, the full goal must be reached under the applicable rules. Then come purchase of the exact bike, production of the sponsor positions and careful installation on the frame. That installation is documented and reviewed.
The intended term of exactly 365 days begins only after approval. Time is not counted while the bike is still unpurchased or the marks are not mounted. The rider also takes on a responsibility: approved positions remain visible under the campaign rules and agreed evidence must be supplied carefully. The macro image shows why installation is treated as physical craft, not a digital overlay.

Rides can be traceable without publishing your home.
Ride Proofs can be based on FIT or GPX files. Raw files and complete point sequences remain private. A separate reduced route is derived for public display: at least the first and last kilometre are removed, coordinates lose precision and publication requires an explicit rider action.
The aim is to make a ride understandable without showing a home address, precise starting point or live position. “Private” does not mean that every conceivable inference can be made impossible, so the platform combines technical reduction with data minimisation and deliberate publication. Upload processing itself remains launch-gated until isolated-worker and resource-limit acceptance tests are complete.

A sticker can become a traceable partnership.
After a successful start, the physical placement and digital campaign page come together. Approved rides can support distance and activity reporting. Active positions show which brand appears where on the bike. Product links, first-party clicks and QR or link interactions can add another view of campaign use.
Example data always remains labelled. Real values appear only once they have actually been recorded and approved under the intended rules. There are no invented impressions and no automatic sales guarantee. Brand My Bike brings physical placement, real use and digital traceability into one campaign page so rider and sponsor can work from the same verifiable foundation.

What you should understand honestly before starting.
Publishing a page does not guarantee bids or that the complete bike goal will be reached.
Funding is tied to the exact bike submitted and reviewed under the applicable rules.
Raw routes, home addresses and live positions are not presented as public campaign data.
Examples stay labelled. Real values appear only after recording and the intended approval.
Once it starts, the term, branding rules and agreed rider evidence requirements apply.
Follower counts are not the only way to tell a story.
What matters is the coherent picture formed by rider, bike, use, region and campaign. Every publication remains subject to review and applicable eligibility rules.
Recurring routes with a clear local context.
Trips, equipment and a story told over distance.
Training, events or a documented season objective.
Local groups, workshops and visible meeting points.
A clear start, a credible plan and regular updates.
A reviewable goal rather than undefined self-promotion.
Short answers. Published platform rules apply where it matters.
How is the exact bike defined?
The rider submits model, configuration, image, retailer link and price evidence. Before a real auction, the relevant bike price is frozen under the intended review rules.
Is funding guaranteed?
No. A page or auction guarantees neither sponsor bids nor that the complete bike goal will be reached.
What happens if the bike goal is missed?
The bike is not partly funded. Under the intended payment model, deposits from an unfunded auction are returned through the documented refund process.
What happens when a sponsor is outbid?
The earlier bid loses its leading position. Its deposit is returned through the documented refund process after provider confirmation.
When does the campaign term begin?
Only after full funding, purchase, installation and approved installation proof. The intended term then runs for 365 days.
Are complete ride routes made public?
No. Raw files and full point sequences stay private. Public views are separate reduced derivatives and require the intended rider approval.
Are payments already available live?
Production transactions remain closed until all legal, operational, tax and security launch gates are complete. The current status is shown on the website.
